L3 NCFE CACHE Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care

Course overview

The full Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A levels. Progression may include degree level study, an apprenticeship, or relevant employment.

Students can progress onto University degrees in health professions for example: adult nursing, mental health nursing, learning disability and child nursing; social care courses such as social work, teaching and criminology.

Employment in care homes or progress onto apprenticeships such as the nursing apprenticeship.
