If you want a fun and fast-paced career as a chef and love working with food, then the level 2 Professional Cookery Study Programme could be for you. It teaches you a comprehensive range of cooking and food preparation skills, including the preparation and cooking of meat, vegetables, fish dishes, sauces and desserts for a range of events, lunches, evening meals and parties. You’ll also learn the importance of hygiene and health and safety practices whilst working in our purpose built commercial kitchens. You will gain valuable work experience in a local business and start to develop your leadership skills. There is also the opportunity to take part in competitions to showcase your talents. This Programme leads directly onto the Level 3 Study programme. You’ll also be ready to go out and start your career as a commis chef or chef de partie on completion should you choose too.
