Bringing lessons to life

  • Our Uniformed Protective Services students had the exciting opportunity to welcome two special guests from the Royal Navy, Engineer Joe and Caterer Janine. They shared insights into their roles in the Navy, asked students about their own career aspirations, and showcased a video about life in the forces.
  • Students were also put to the test with fun, hands-on challenges! Split into teams, they first competed to build a two-metre-high communication tower. Then, using the same materials, they worked to construct a functional wind turbine.
  • The lively and competitive atmosphere made for an engaging and memorable experience, leaving students inspired and more informed about career opportunities in the Royal Navy.

Prepare for the police, fire and emergency services or the armed forces by pushing your endurance and comfort levels through exciting and challenging activities. From wall climbing, caving and canoeing, to understanding the human body, criminology and responding to emergency incidents, you will satisfy your love for adventure, duty and justice as you gain valuable skills required for specialist and elite units.

Safeguarding

We are committed to making sure all students and staff are protected from harm. All staff are trained in safeguarding and child protection, and our dedicated Safeguarding team is on hand for advice and support. Don’t stay silent, we are here for you.
