What will the apprentice be doing?

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and organisation of engaging activities that help children develop
  • Support the care and daily needs of children including health hygiene, nutrition and overall well-being
  • Work closely with a professional and supportive team
  • Receive regular guidance from a college assessor who will help you achieve your qualification 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Early years practitioner (level 2)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Possibility to progress to Level 3 Early Years Educator

Annual wage

£11,778 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
