Barbers work in client-facing environments across the hair and beauty sector, from small shops to large high street salons. Their role involves delivering a range of barbering services tailored to client needs, including shampooing, cutting, styling, finishing hair, shaping facial hair, and providing shaving services.

They work with all hair types and textures, perform client consultations, and maintain high standards of professionalism, precision, and client care. Barbers also promote services and products, work independently or with teams, and demonstrate strong communication, retail, and safe working practices while consistently delivering outstanding service and a variety of looks.
