Course overview

This level 3 electrical installations course is for anyone who has completed the level 2 Diploma and would like to take their next step towards becoming a qualified Electrician in the Electrical Industry.

This level 3 electrical installations course is the next step after completing the level 2 in Electrical Installations and our electrical Improvers will learn all about the more advanced underpinning knowledge an Electrician uses on site, including:

  • Inspection and testing
  • Fault diagnostics
  • Electrical science & principles
  • Electrical Installation design

There will be part of the Level 3 City and Guilds course spent on Inspection and Testing and also fault diagnostics in the workshop.

  • Entry Requirements
    Level 2 Electrical Installation. Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths.
  • Who is this course for?

    This course is for 16-18 and adults.
