English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Is English not your first language. We have courses for both 16-18 year olds and 19+ to help you develop your English skills across reading, writing, speaking and listening. With this full-time course you will study aspects of English as well as maths. You will also benefit from tutorial time and work experience.
You will receive an assessment when you apply to make sure you are studying at the correct level for you. We have various levels of study from Entry level 1 to Level 2. You will be regularly assessed at the college throughout the year and there will be a final exam in June. Progression may include a higher level of ESOL or another full-time course or an apprenticeship.
