Course overview

Level 3 hairdressing is a full time course for those learners who already have a level 2 hairdressing qualification and salon experience and they want to gain the next step in their hairdressing career.

An intense course that will build your skills, develop your knowledge and grow your confidence in a professional salon. You are supported in a practical environment whereby you take ownership of your own clients, from booking in, arranging patch-tests, carrying out treatments and providing aftercare and advice.

You will be required to work under pressure and produce results to a high standard - but also gain the satisfaction that comes hand in hand with a job in the industry. You will be building on your level 2 skills whilst also learning new skills. The course is supported by underpinning knowledge and theory that will help you to develop skills to support you in a career within the industry. You will need regular work experience in a salon.
