AAT provide training for a range of accounting and finance roles, respected by employers worldwide.

Study our Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping qualification teach you how to do the simple manual bookkeeping. The process of recording financial transactions. The course is ‘part-time classroom taught’ every Wednesday morning AND afternoon and will run during the second semester (Jan-April 25).

• Entry Requirements

  There is no need for any prior accounting or bookkeeping knowledge. It provides a solid grounding for students wishing to move on to the Level 2 AAT* qualifications.

  *To progress onto Level 2 AAT, you will need a level 2 equivalent in English.

  • Understand financial transactions.
  • Process customer and supplier transactions.
  • Process receipts and payments.
  • Understand the benefits and risks of using accounting software to complete bookkeeping tasks.

  To achieve this qualification, students must successfully achieve one mandatory computer based externally marked assessment.

  • Trainee Bookkeeping Assistant

  You will obtain core accounting knowledge and skills to prepare you for employment and further study*.
