Delivering for York, North Yorkshire and East Riding.
We’re proud to work with our fellow further education colleges across York, North Yorkshire and East Riding.
Through delivering education and skills for 16-18 year-olds, through to adult learning, apprenticeships and degree level study, we will help everyone to improve their skills, knowledge and readiness for what our new, changed economy will bring.
We are committed to the people, communities and businesses we serve, as we face one of the toughest economic, welfare and health crises for generations.
Skills shortages have been identified in many key sectors of the economy, which have been exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic. Now more than ever, stronger technical education and training will be essential to provide opportunities for local people. Industries such as digital, manufacturing, health, construction, science and the green economy will need these skills to build a resilient and successful workforce.
Underpinning our ethos is our ongoing commitment to support and provide opportunities for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society, to create better, healthier, and more prosperous lives.
