Who are Student Life?

When you join Harrogate College you automatically become a member of the Student Life union. It’s a place for you to relax, socialise and enjoy the fun of being a student. It’s also your go-to activity hub, with activities and events designed to help you learn new things, connect with similar people and develop interesting hobbies.

Looking for an invigorating yoga session? Want to meet others who share your love of board games? We have plenty of societies for you to get involved with. We’re always looking for new suggestions, so if there’s a hobby you’d like to pursue, we can help.

We’re here to support you

From events for International Women’s Day to LGBTQ+ History Month, we champion the causes close to our students’ hearts. We also offer one-to-one support – ranging from drop-in sessions and online counselling, to financial support for meals, transport and childcare to those who are eligible.
