Business Administration L3 Apprentice
We’re looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join UBU in Harrogate. This role will be both challenging and rewarding with exposure to a fast paced, vibrant environment. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have the initial skills and knowledge needed for a career in Business Administration.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Your duties will include:
- Providing office support including customer and employee
- support
- Working with all departments within The Hub
- Keeping well-organised files and record
- Interacting with people either on the phone or in person
- Following up on business communications
- Collecting and inputting company data
- Learning about the company’s mission and values
- Building relationships within ubu and across the business
- Sending emails
- Preparing documents
- Writing and editing company correspondence
- Collecting and sorting post
- Preparing meeting rooms by setting up chairs and getting
- refreshments
- Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
- Giving feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible
- improvements
- Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will study toward a Level 3 Business Administration course.
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required.
- The Apprenticeship will be mainly work based, but you will be invited to attend college 1 day per month.

Being part of a cohort of apprentices across the UK, you’ll be supported every step of the way by your manager, our training provider, and a workplace mentor.
You’ll get dedicated time to focus on achieving your Level 3 apprenticeship qualification which will set you up for success in your future.
