Course overview

Pharmacy Services Assistants (PSAs) work under the supervision of pharmacists or pharmacy technicians, supporting the delivery of pharmacy services across different environments. Their duties include preparing, assembling, and supplying medicines and products, assisting patients in effective medicine use, and managing the ordering, storage, disposal, and return of medicines. PSAs understand healthy lifestyle advice and relevant screening services. They follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, efficient, and safe pharmacy operations while complying with regulations. Their role is vital in supporting healthcare teams and providing quality service to patients and the public.
