Business Administration L3 Apprentice

We’re looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join UBU in Harrogate. This role will be both challenging and rewarding with exposure to a fast paced, vibrant environment. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have the initial skills and knowledge needed for a career in Business Administration.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Your duties will include:

  • Providing office support including customer and employee
  • support
  • Working with all departments within The Hub
  • Keeping well-organised files and record
  • Interacting with people either on the phone or in person
  • Following up on business communications
  • Collecting and inputting company data
  • Learning about the company’s mission and values
  • Building relationships within ubu and across the business
  • Sending emails
  • Preparing documents
  • Writing and editing company correspondence
  • Collecting and sorting post
  • Preparing meeting rooms by setting up chairs and getting
  • refreshments
  • Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Giving feedback on office efficiency and suggesting possible
  • improvements
  • Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will study toward a Level 3 Business Administration course.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required.
  • The Apprenticeship will be mainly work based, but you will be invited to attend college 1 day per month.

Being part of a cohort of apprentices across the UK, you’ll be supported every step of the way by your manager, our training provider, and a workplace mentor.

You’ll get dedicated time to focus on achieving your Level 3 apprenticeship qualification which will set you up for success in your future.
