We are a family run, independent nursery with a wonderful team and a charming setting. We care for children ages 3 months to 11 years and have a wide range of opportunities for our applicants.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Main responsibilities:

  • Meet children’s individual needs
  • Carry out activities to enhance development
  • Support with meal times and personal care routines
  • Engage with children at all times to ensure a high standard of care
  • Liaise with parents/carers at the end of each day

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will be studying towards L2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship.
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
  • The Apprenticeship is fully work based.
  • The assessor will visit you at the workplace, to set work/ review tasks.
  • You will be given 6 hours Off the job training per week.
  • Training opportunities through Noodle Now, First Aid training.
