Jonathan Leng
Art and Design, Levels 3 and 4

Jonathan lives and breathes photography, having been the photographer for West Row salons before joining us in 2007. He’s all about helping students feel the wow factor with their first print, and still works as a freelance and documentary photographer today.

Fraser Wright
Art and Design/Photography/Time-based Media, Levels 1, 2, and 6 and 7

For years Fraser worked at the heart of London’s photography industry, producing work for Radio Times, the BBC, and various fashion mags. He’s still a practicing artist and photographer today, in between studying for his PhD. Fair to say he’s keeping himself busy!

Drew Naylor
Creative Media, Levels 2 and 3

Drew became part of Harrogate College last year. He takes pride in drawing meaning from the changes in the social environment, which he enjoys discussing with students. Drew also has the exciting job of reviewing film admissions for the Sunderland Film Festival.

Andrew Fitzpatrick
Creative Media and IT, Levels 1 to 3

3D design seems to run through Andrew’s veins. Before joining Harrogate College, he worked as a 3D artist and animator, and designed 3D simulations for cancer detection devices. You’ll often find him working on resources which he passes on to learners for free.

Alex Skarratt
Performing and Producing Arts Levels 2 and 3

From musical productions for primary schools to community projects at Harrogate Theatre, Alex really brings her passion for performance to the Harrogate community. She’s a big fan of practitioner theories such as Antoin Artaud’s ‘Theatre of Cruelty’ – even if the audience aren’t!

Robin Burch
Performing and Producing Arts, Levels 2 and 3

From the BBC to the London Dungeon, Robin worked everywhere and anywhere before joining the college in 2005. He’s passionate about passing on his extensive knowledge to students and looks forward to watching their own productions as they grasp new skills.
