Course overview

An intense course that will build your skills, develop your knowledge and understanding of Motor Vehicles. You will be trained to work safely and produce results to a high standard - gaining the experience and knowledge to self-test and fault find independently. You will have the opportunity to work with real cars in a realistic garage, test for faults, run diagnostics and become familiar with modern technologies. You will also gain exposure to the industry and get the chance to work with welding equipment.

  • Entry Requirements
    Each case will be looked at but having GCSEs in your core subjects is highly recommended, along with any other relevant qualifications and experience. Maths and physics play a part but can be supported whilst you develop your knowledge of application. What is deemed essential is a natural curiosity for the Motor Vehicle industry and the advancing technologies that are linked to the industry.
