Course overview

An intense course that will build your skills, develop your knowledge and grow your confidence in a professional salon. You are supported in a practical environment whereby you take ownership of your own clients, from booking in, arranging patch-tests, carrying out treatments and providing aftercare and advice. You will be required to work under pressure and produce results to a high standard - but also gain the satisfaction that comes hand in hand with a job in the industry. Learning basics such as cutting and blow drying to the complexities of colouring. The course is supported by underpinning knowledge and theory that will help you to develop skills to support you in a career within the industry.

    Three GCSEs at grade 3 or above or successful completion of Hairdressing Level 1
  • Benefits/Skills
    The skills that are taught in the salon provide you with the basics needed to work within the industry and train to a higher standard. Alongside technical skills you will learn how to communicate with clients and manage a diary, alongside promoting a positive impression of you and your team.
